« One day, two of the contractors I am wont to work with had the charming idea of planning an outdoor event in the heart of Lubéron.

The event would span an entire day from the early afternoon until the next morning, and would figure warm maroons, an oyster buffet, crepe stands, horse shows, and live music, all in the cozy warmth of a multitude of braziers and heaters working to appease the chill of the winter day. We used the early sunset of that time of the year to our advantage, with spectacular fireworks shimmering in the dark sky and the glowing lights of fire shows peering through the night, simultaneously marking the end of the day and welcoming a nighttime of capering.«
